Building Dreams

Matt Phoenix and Aiden Byers came from very different backgrounds, but they thought of each other as brothers. After an apprenticeship at Byers Construction, Matt said he wanted to try building houses someday. Aiden suggested they do it together. They were learning a lot from Aiden’s dad and uncle, and their first house project was going well. Then disaster struck. Would they be able to pick up the pieces of their dream and move on?

Bailey Campbell and her younger sister Emma never liked living in the big city. When Bailey decided to apply for an Associate Pastor position in a small town on the other side of the state, Emma rode along to keep her company. Why did the name of the town sound so familiar to her? Would the Campbell sisters be leaving the city and building their dreams in a place called Hope?

Building Dreams is a story of hope, healing, and second chances. It shows us that it’s never too late to start over. And it reminds us just how big our dreams can be when we allow God to lead our lives.

“Building Dreams is a wonderful story of family (both biological and chosen), redemption, and making big changes. Bailey and Emma are so much fun to read – they feel like your best friends from their very first scene, and I love their sisterly banter. Aiden and Matt have really bonded since book 2 (JC’s Hope), and they’ve truly become found family. It’s very interesting to watch the characters we met in the first two books continue to grow as people and watch how they handle their ups and downs. Definitely a worthwhile read…but read the first two books first!”
