With dreams of becoming a Christian author, Joyce Byers Hill spent twenty-eight years as a full-time sales analyst for a worldwide corporation, crunching numbers by day and writing by night. She majored in creative writing in college, and always found writing to be therapeutic. Joyce is a devout Christian and enjoys writing fiction and poetry from a Christian perspective. Diamond in the Rough was Joyce’s first novel, but she has also written numerous unpublished short stories and poems.
Joyce has a lifelong love of baseball and enjoys writing, drawing, playing the accordion, scrapbooking, and researching family history. With a father who was an engineer, designing and building things were part of her childhood. Therefore, she learned at an early age the importance of nurturing her creativity.
Joyce lives in Central Washington and is blessed to have been chosen to be the mother of an incredible daughter and a wonderful son-in-law.
